Einschränkungen:
- PVC-U Armaturen sind nicht für Gas- oder Druckluftleitungen.
- Die maximale Flüssigkeitstemperatur liegt zwischen 0°C und +45°C (kurzzeitig bis +60°C). Bei höheren Temperaturen kann sich die molekulare Struktur verändern, was zu einer Verringerung der Druckbelastung führt. Der Schmelzpunkt liegt bei etwa +80°C.
- Weichmacherfreies Hart-PVC (PVC-U) ist nur für die Kaltwasserversorgung geeignet und sollte nicht für die Trinkwasserversorgung mit heißen Flüssigkeiten verwendet werden.
